Holy crap, it's 2015 and I haven't updated this page in more than a decade. Guess that's what blogs and facebook have done...anything I want to say is said there now, and this little welcome mat to the internet is left to rot.

I've left my last update here as a kind of monument to the world gone by. Crazy how the internet has evolved and life has flowed around it...

So. Once again, uprooting and shifting onto a different path. This time, my choice...the path I was on wasn't the right one for me, so I took my own advice to others and changed it. Or rather, I am in the process of changing it...as much as I wish life had a fast-forward button, it doesn't, and we still need to slog the road between "now" and "then".

Am I making the right choices? Only time will tell. I know that this is the right thing for me to do *now*; if time proves me wrong, then I will correct the path then. There are some advantages to having gone through some of the things I have in the recent past: I know that destinies can be changed, to grab onto a good thing when you find it because life is short, to constantly strive to be the best person you can be. Life is a journey, an experiment.

[If you are curious about those past choices, you can follow them backwards in time, starting with my previous page update and navigating them back, back, back...]

And here is the obligatory link to my resume and some samples of my techpubs writing...

As always, thanks for stopping by. Drop me a line if you found yourself here, just to say hi...I'd love to hear from you.

take care --
